Why this blog? Well, I was at my hairdresser (Eric, he's awesome! More about him later.) and he said I needed to start a blog. (I think he needs to write a book...or two!) You know how you share things with the guy who does your hair....he thought I should share these thoughts with others. So today I begin.
Picking out the blog name. I wanted to try to pick words that describe who I am. I am a thrifty, penny-pinching kind of gal so that's why I chose the word provident. (I used the thesaurus feature on my MAC.) Then I wanted a word that would sound good with provident. I am a parent, so, once again, the thesaurus was called into duty, and progenitor it is! So I am the Provident Progenitor. You can also call me Miserly Marcy...but that doesn't sound as smart.
